AVP, Technology
Position Summary
This position is responsible for identifying, implementing and maintaining the website and other technologies that will support board goals and improve member services. The Associate Vice President, Technology reports into the VP, Operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Website, SharePoint or database administration
- Strong skills in dealing with end users and troubleshooting issues
- Some graphic design experience or skills would be helpful but not required
- Highly organized
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Good skills in collaborating with other Board Members, (VPs), AVPs, volunteers and members across various disciplines
Responsibilities
- Manage the chapter website (Wild Apricot/StarChapter) and web hosting or another platform
- Manage access to Wild Apricot/StarChapter and Google Drive for board members and volunteers, provisioning access for new members and revoking access for those that have left the chapter
- Provide support to members in accessing and navigating the website
- Technical problems troubleshooting
- Collaborate with board VPs and AVPs, event leaders, and committee heads to develop and post website content
- Monitor monthly web usage, provide monthly report to VP Operations
- Monitor the number of contacts to ensure we don’t exceed the current plan maximum
- Work with AVP of Membership to archive non-active and/or out-of-date contacts
- Backup & Archive Files - (each January)
